Director - Infrastructure Strategy and Solutions

The Director role is responsible for the design, build, run and monitoring of infrastructure services to customers including the strategic development of services and technologies; the lifecycle management of services and technologies. It is responsible for technologies such as the Cenitex server hosting and cloud platforms, networks, security, identity, storage and recovery capabilities.

Division Summary

The Infrastructure Services Business Unit of Cenitex is responsible for the design, build, run and monitoring of infrastructure services to customers. This includes the strategic development of services and technologies; the lifecycle management of services and technologies; pricing of services; commercial management of vendors and contracts; the transition governance of services; while ensuring product alignment to customer needs. It is responsible for technologies such as the Cenitex server hosting and cloud platforms, networks, security, identity, storage and recovery capabilities.

About the role

Reporting to the Executive Director, and working closely with teams across Cenitex, you will have organisational accountability for Infrastructure technologies to ensure that all services are strategically developed and in accordance with Cenitex's commitments and corporate strategy.

  • Provide thought leadership in relation to the establishment of infrastructure technology roadmaps that maximise Cenitex's competitive advantage.
  • Lead continuous improvement of technology platforms and architecture through effective capacity planning and automation.
  • Lead a ‘security first' approach to new services and customer proposals.
  • Delivering financial results to targets and ownership of the P&L of the Infrastructure Services Business Unit.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance to the Executive Leadership Team and peers regarding Infrastructure strategy and direction.

Through effective leadership contribute to developing a strong technology capability, and mentor managers and new leaders, identifying and developing talented staff and ensuring effective collaboration

About you

Demonstrated knowledge, capability and experience in leading Infrastructure functions with strong recognition as a leader in these technologies.

  • Strategic thinker and commercially astute, with the ability to plan and deliver outcomes that advance the long-term interests of an organisation. Experience developing and leading high-performance teams.
  • Significant track record in developing and leading high-performance teams, with proven ability to motivate, inspire and align teams to strategic priorities.
  • Superior stakeholder management skills with the ability to credibly communicate, negotiate and influence strategic outcomes
  • Australian citizenship – Ideally NV1 however baseline clearance will be considered
