MediaCom is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Client Planning Director to join us on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that you are using data, technology and tools to deliver best in class media strategies.

As a Client Planning Director, you are responsible for having a deep understanding of your client’s business and challenges - this is not limited to just media & advertising.

You will work with the client through strategy & planning to unearth & develop business challenges into solutions that will not only drive your client’s business forward but also offers commercial opportunity for MediaCom. You will be curious, passionate, enthusiastic and ultimately indispensable to the client and their business.

You will ensure that the output from the team (if applicable) is of consistent quality, seamlessly translates strategic approach from end to end and that all deadlines are met.

You use your ‘know how’, horizontality and overview of the market to know what media product will deliver the desired outcomes and build client trust in you and your recommendations

You Bring:

An extensive experience in media planning and truly understanding the relationship between channels

A knowledge of what could be first in market or a unique opportunity

Strong ability to build relationships with key stakeholders – client, client team, SBU’s

An awareness of what award winning work looks like

Previous experience in Investment with an understanding of media buying/trading

Previous people management experience, with the ability to define your management style and expectations for your team

In-depth knowledge of media channels and tools

High levels of energy that helps cultivate a positive social and high performing culture

An innate ability to understand numbers like a second language and translate them into a story for our clients
