As a Business Director supporting the Group Business Director your mission is to drive the delivery of the best possible work for your client and for PHD, from brief to results you are at the heart of this endeavour. Reporting into the Group Business Director, You will be the team leader that manages client relationship, identify new business opportunities, and have a good knowledge on digital product offerings and the benefits these can add to your clients' business.

Your day to day…

  • Manage and develop key senior relationships with your client
  • Control and constantly drive the quality or your team's output in the creation of plans and buys that reflect the insights and the ideas shaped from them
  • Identify, recruit, manage and develop your team with a strong focus on inspiring the PHD values, beliefs and vision.
  • Network within the marketing and media community in a manner than drives and distinguishes our position.
  • Manage the productivity and profitability of your group and business to the required levels, including setting and reviewing fee levels.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities through existing or new business relationships, this includes offline and online
  • Understand our recommendations are grounded in consumer insights and that these insights should lead to communications recommendations not just traditional media plans

Who are you?

  • You've had around 8-12 years' experience across all touchpoints with a knowledge than spans across channels
  • Good understanding of media fundamentals and strategic planning capabilities
  • People leadership experience and an ability to train, mentor and manage team members of all ability levels.
  • Total quality control for all output delivered to the client.
  • Ability to balance priorities to ensure disparate groups are brought together to deliver great work
  • Ability to clearly brief and articulate client goals to media owners to deliver best in market responses
  • You're fuelled by the need to deliver the best output for your clients and are able to anticipate their needs
