Influential and collaborative senior Legal advisor. Professional, experienced and commercially minded Principal Lawyer required to partner with and provide advice to, internal and external project teams, advisors and stakeholders across the North East Link Project.

The Opportunity

Responsible for providing legal advice and support across multiple areas and stages of the North East Link mega project, you and your team will be work in complete partnership with our multi-disciplinary project teams. The legal, commercial and contractual risks that are prevalent for a project of this size are both the appeal for any astute, legal professional and an opportunity to provide significant value.

Non-negotiable experience in one or more areas being; procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects; construction and projects litigation, will ensure you are able to;

  • Confidently deliver pragmatic advice and recommendations on legal, regulatory and contractual issues to a wide range of stakeholders,
  • Manage the interface effectively between external advisors and internal teams and guarantee a consistent, agreed approach is taken; and
  • Develop complex, detailed and cohesive documentation, briefs and related governance papers that lead to outcomes in line with Government's policy objectives.

You will be a key liaison and expert communicator throughout the business, thus requiring self-awareness, a sense of purpose and critical thinking abilities in addition to, exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, well-honed within a political or complex, working environment.
