Due to ongoing steady growth, we are now looking to hire an additional Recruitment Consultant to join an established and highly collaborative team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruit a broad range of IT contract and permanent roles for our clients across corporate and start-up clients, including universities, utility companies, defence, federal and state government bodies, insurance and software companies
  • Review seek ad response, headhunt candidates from our large database and other sources such as LinkedIn and personal networking, conduct a lot of phone/zoom based interviews, evaluate and shortlist the best people for different IT jobs
  • Work collaboratively with a highly experienced team, maintain a high productivity level, embrace ongoing learning and professional development. Note that this is a long term role within a team, not an individual recruitment role.
  • Ongoing learning about technology, enterprise technology projects and associated skills and people, how to run a contracting desk, how to build your personal brand and professional network
  • Based in the Melbourne CBD office for most of the time during your first 3-6 months of intensive training, mentoring and coaching. Once you have established your role and are achieving consistent results, you will transition to working from home on a regular basis

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • University degree preferred but not essential
  • Experience in a contact/call centre well regarded
  • Experience in a sales-based role highly regarded
  • High level of energy, resilience, passion and an exceptional work ethic is essential
  • Outgoing nature, happy to learn on the fly and by talking to people
  • Motivated by success, professional growth and earning commission
