At the elite level, the Australian Women’s Team is preparing for a huge season, highlighted a home series against India, the World Cup in New Zealand and the Commonwealth Games to follow in 2022. Our elite teams play a significant role in inspiring our fans and the next generation of Australian cricketers, while our facilities, coaching programs and sport science practices enable us to produce some of the best teams, players and officials in the world.
We have an opportunity for an experienced coach to join our Australian Women’s Team program with a particular focus on pace bowling.

To be successful, you will have the passion and expertise to produce the best teams and players in the world in all formats. You will also be aligned to our team values and will lead by example to inspire the next generation.

About The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support player improvement and performance through world-class programs, player planning and reviews focused on international readiness,
  • Develop game day preparation and assist with individual player goal setting,
  • Develop and implement training drills for individual and group development,
  • Use technology in training and game day to develop and educate players,
  • Drive Squads & Teams’ performance results in domestic and international competitions,
  • Understand current trends in cricket and sport and look outside of cricket to challenge the team and players,
  • The development of Australian players, with a particular focus on pace bowling, and targeted players in the pathway with the potential to play for Australia,
  • Develop well-rounded and socially aware individuals who can contribute positively to the sport and society,
  • Play an active role in a strong coaching team.
