About Calvary Health Care Bethlehem – Parkdale, Victoria

Calvary Health Care Bethlehem (CHCB) is a 32 bed health care facility providing a range of inpatient, community and ambulatory services for palliative care and progressive neurological conditions. CHCB is also an NDIS service provider. We are currently located at our temporary site in Parkdale, whilst our Caulfield site is being re-developed into a Health Care Precinct.

Graduate Nurse Program 2022

  • Graduate nurse positions available with intakes in February 2022 (2 roles) and August 2022 (2 roles)

About The Role

The Graduate Nurse program is designed to be flexible to meet the learning needs of each graduate. We provide a personalised and supportive environment to enable you to consolidate and further develop your skills and knowledge that will enhance your future career opportunities.

Graduate nurses will develop the assessment and critical thinking skills required to effectively nurse patients requiring palliative care and those with progressive neurological conditions. Those accepted into the program will benefit from a structured program which includes extensive supernumary time, 4 study days plus 2 days in our specialist areas, as well as a structured debrief and skills enhancement and review program. Graduate nurses are further supported by nurse educators and our preceptorship program. Positions are 0.8EFT with no night duty requirement and successful completion acts as a credit towards the University of Tasmania Clinical Honours Program (course fee waivered)

  • Current AHPRA registration or eligibility prior to start date
