Great opportunity with a multinational company that designs and builds electrical systems and provides services for the aerospace, defence, transportation and security markets.

Your new role
In your new role you will be working as part of a team of people to implement the design, integrate and automate the build of the Account and Access Management subsystem (A&A) in a predominately Linux based environment, which includes writing supporting documentation for the Directory Service (Microsoft AD DS) 2019 and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in the CMATS. You will integrate the AD DS with both Windows and Linux based clients (with Linux based clients being the majority), a SIEM, Control and Monitoring Subsystem and other CMATS subsystems, via pre-defined structed deployment method, that heavily uses Ansible.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Integration of Windows and Linux based endpoints.
  • Development of scripts in Microsoft PowerShell to automate the build and configuration of the AD DS design and the Windows-based MFA components
  • Automation of the build of the MFA solution on Linux-based hosts
  • Integration with CMATS subsystems (which includes SIEM and Monitoring, using 3rd party logging tools)
  • Updating of Build guides for the deployment of the AD DS
  • Writing of Standard Operating Procedures for administrators of the AD DS in the system
  • Implementing the A&A build into Test Environments
  • Assisting the test team in the development of the AD DS Acceptance Test Procedures
  • Writing of System Configuration Description (as built documents)

What you'll need to succeed
  • Highly developed Ansible skills for system deployment and configuration (YAML)
  • Highly developed Linux skills (RHEL preferred)
  • Good writing skills for the creation / update of build guides and SOP
  • Previous experience integrating Active Directory in a mixed environment (Linux/Windows)
  • Knowledge of the LDAPS and Kerberos protocols in a mixed Linux / Windows based system
  • Knowledge of MFA principles
  • An understanding of Systems Engineering processes
  • Good verbal communication skills

Must Have:
  • Australian Citizenship.

  • Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory 2016+
  • Scripting skills in Microsoft PowerShell for the automation of system builds and configuration
  • Understanding of the Information Security Manual (ISM)
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) principles
