Job Description

As the Service Manager - Post Placement Support (PPS) you will provide advice and leadership to DES PPS Consultants. This role ensures all team members are meeting their individual and team KPI's, provides training and support to the team and proactively assist the PPS Manager with strategies to enhance outcomes across the DES program. Where needed a Service Manager - PPS may have a caseload of PPS clients to track through to outcome.

Reporting to our PPS manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, coaching/mentoring to the DES PPS Consultants and responsible for the induction, onboarding and training of team members.
  • Establish and communicate clear direction for the effective operations of the PPS team, set objectives and priorities, promote effective teamwork and

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • An understanding of Disability / Employment Services and experience within a similar role;
  • Proven experience in hospitality, retail, customer service and sales;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Superior organisational and time management skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to build rapport effectively;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload;
  • Hold a current driver's license;
  • A commitment to and proven experience providing excellent customer service; and
  • Demonstrated capability with appropriate technology to meet the needs of the role.
