Your Impact

We are seeking a Senior Surveyor and Data Manager to take on a valued role and be an integral part of our Victorian Data Capture team, delivering work primarily in Victoria, but also support the broader Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) business. We are a high functioning, collaborative and energetic team who are seeking someone with a can-do attitude. This role will report to the Melbourne Team Leader and the Data Capture Section Leader.

The Jacobs ANZ Data Capture and Advisory business has access to the latest equipment, software, and processes, delivering professional surveying services, solutions and advice to our focus clients on major infrastructure projects within market sectors of Transport, Water, Power and Energy, and Built Environment.

You will be joining an inclusive and collaborative team of highly motivated, engaged and industry leading survey professionals. A as consultant surveyor at Jacobs you will have the ability to undertake field work tasks, manage large survey and utility datasets, support and foster team development, actively mentor our graduates, and most importantly operate as a consultant interacting directly with internal and external clients to grow our business and deliver projects. #ANZDigital

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Relevant tertiary degree
  • Established experience working as a Land Surveyor ideally with exposure to major infrastructure projects
  • An ability to determine and address underlying client needs and to confirm client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Works effectively as part of a team and can work autonomously
  • Effective coaching and mentoring abilities
