What You'll Be Doing

Your role is to execute the rider safety and engagement strategy for Deliveroo’s Australian business. You’ll be challenged to think outside the box to engage riders across Australia on the topic of safety, both online and in-person that improve safety outcomes and enhance riders’ experience of working with Deliveroo. Reporting to the Content and Engagement Manager within the Operations team, you’ll also work closely with the Content, Rider Support, Legal & Comms teams.

Day To Day You Will

  • Deliver on the rider safety and engagement strategy for Deliveroo Australia, ensuring riders have regular and genuine opportunities to consult with Deliveroo on topics relating to safety
  • Schedule and facilitate group and 121 rider consultations, both in-person and online, in alignment with the priorities of the Rider Lifecycle team, Legal and Corporate Affairs
  • Plan and execute rider events across the country, gathering rider feedback and ensuring riders have the knowledge and support to complete deliveries safely and confidently
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third party partners to provide relevant perks for riders across a range of categories, including vehicle maintenance, safety, education and lifestyle
  • Report on the effectiveness of rider safety and engagement initiatives against KPIs, and share rider feedback with internal stakeholders to drive future safety and engagement priorities

Skills You'll Need
  • You'll be comfortable organising and running events and/or focus groups
  • You'll have experience of working cross functionally and can demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills
  • You'll need to be willing & able to travel regularly for rider events and meetings across Australia
  • Prior experience as an Industrial relations officer and/or WHS would be great, but isn't a requirement
