How you will make an impact:

You will build and maintain high-quality online courses together with Learning Designers and academics. Using tools embedded in Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), multimedia production and collaboration tools, you will:

  • Implement course designs and revisions
  • Assist with course setup and administration for each term
  • Help faculty troubleshoot technical issues
  • Assist in the development of support resources for faculty and students
  • Explore new technologies relevant to the online classroom
  • Create H5P and other interactive assets for courses
  • Coordinate media production (video and podcasts) including creating briefs, planning shoots, and working with media editors and learning designers to ensure the finished media meets learning objectives
This is an initial 12 month contract role with the potential to be extended.

We are looking for someone with following skills/qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree qualification
  • 1-3 years relevant professional experience and strong technical acumen in online learning and web development including HTML, Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard and H5P
  • Experience in video and audio media production and editing highly desirable
  • Ability to self-direct, strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm for helping others resolve issues, an effective problem-solver and able to seek out solutions to unexpected challenges
  • Experience managing multiple projects with timely delivery
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Excellence in written and oral communication
