At Heartland Reverse Mortgages, we're looking for a fantastic Broker Relationship Associate to join our awesome team based in Melbourne, Australia.

Is this your next role?
As a relationship associate, you will develop, maintain and provide accurate and responsible relationship and service support to our distribution partners, including mortgage brokers, aggregators, and other Heartland Seniors Finance business partners. You’ll deliver on our distribution strategy by nurturing relationships and develop opportunities to activate and switch on accredited and new brokers to broaden and service Heartland’s broker network. You’ll strive to deepen, build and leverage relationships through strategic communication and marketing initiatives to existing brokers and intermediaries, while also helping to service our high value customers.

Does this sound like you?
You’ll have over 5 years’ experience in financial services and proven track record driving portfolio performance with brokers. Passionate about your customers, you’re a great communicator who has strong relationship management skills. With a ‘can do’ attitude, you enjoy helping your team and have outstanding attention to detail. Happy to flex, you work at pace.

You’ll have:
  • Tertiary qualification in finance/business/economics/commerce/broking, or 5+ years’ mortgage industry experience is preferred.
  • An understanding of the third-party channel including Broker
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate, negotiate and influence at all levels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Mortgage/Security/Credit knowledge
  • MS Word, Excel and Access
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working with external/internal customers
