What’s the Opportunity?

The Sales Manager is accountable and responsible for managing end to end Sales, Inbound & Outbound operational performance for Dodo Manila.
They will provide leadership, coaching & tactical direction to all staff within outsourced operations to ensure maximum performance across all functions with the Dodo consumer brand.

They are also responsible to identify areas of improvement within sales and implementation processes, product, marketing and technology in order to maximize opportunities to meet and exceed targets.

What’s the day to day look like?
  • Ensure that sales operations are run within the agreed annual operational expenditure target and contributes to the planned business plan targets
  • Responsible for ensuring that high levels of sales quality along with customer satisfaction are maintained throughout the end to end sales journey
  • Minimizing costs without sacrificing sales performance through optimal resource management
  • Adherence to Key Performance Indicators and sales performance metrics as set by the business for both inbound, outbound and live chat functions
  • Manage daily and weekly sales cadence & performance reviews to facilitate the development & recording of action plans to address gaps in KPI performance and maintain tight performance management expectation across all campaigns
  • Implementation of new products, promotions and procedures, understanding the impacts to AHT and negotiating the implementation without additional costs or impact to sales performance.
  • Mentor and lead by example, while coaching, training, developing and counselling team leaders to enable them to meet performance targets and objectives
  • Work collaboratively across the business to understand and translate change in a meaningful way for our customer facing agents and leaders
  • Embed the culture and ethics that aligns with Vocus values and enables achievement of business objectives
  • Ensure that formal performance reviews are done as required and in a timely manner.
  • Work with leadership teams to identify areas of improvement that enhance commercial capability, operations, staff efficiency and boost sales results, via strategic planning and targeted approach.
  • Maintain and analyze daily and weekly reporting for all sales campaigns
  • International travel required at least 1 week per month exception with Covid

What you will need to be successful:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Telecommunications and/or Energy industry.
  • Strong understanding and experience of the call centre environment, preferably offshore.
  • Well-developed relationship building skill with remote teams
  • Proven performer in high intensity sales driven environment with the ability to consistently meet and exceed targets. Outstanding commitment to sales results and financial goals.
  • Commercial experience spent in a management position in a sales and operational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing an operation of significant size (over 200 staff) and reporting on performance. Proven experience in management of other people Managers.
  • Capacity to work with a multi-skilled team and extensive network in an environment focused on superior experience and continuous commercial business performance improvement.
  • Well developed skills associated with managing in a participative and consultative work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to build strong and effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across different cultures.
