About the role
In this role you will be responsible for welcoming and on-boarding new members and customers to the Bank as well as managing and nurturing our existing relationships.
Our aim is to provide a positive experience, build trust and lay the foundations for successful dealings in the future. You’ll be required to actively listen to our members to understand their financial goals and needs – both hidden and apparent.
You’ll use a variety of interactions on a daily basis including an outbound dialling tool, SMS facility, email, and answering inbound calls.

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 10.00am to 6.30pm with a one hour lunch break.

Some key duties include:
  • Establishing new memberships at the Bank which originate over the phone, through social media or the Banks website
  • Managing new and existing members of the Bank throughout the different stages of their financial journey
  • Identifying needs and recognising opportunities to offer suitable products and/or services
  • Educating members on the Banks’ products and services and how they may assist them to meet their financial aspirations
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Outstanding customer focus, including being results orientated with a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Effective negotiating skills
  • Previous experience in Outbound sales preferred
  • FSR Tier 2 Accreditation would be highly regarded
  • Certificate IV in Financial Services would be highly regarded
