Your new company

This state government organisation located in the CBD is looking for program administrator to assist with providing operational and administrative support for a month contract that nay extend.

Your new role

This role requires an excellent working knowledge of grant administration, well developed planning and organisation skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills to be able to provide a good customer service and administrative support to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the delivery of department grant programs and initiatives by providing operational, administrative and data entry support.
  • Deliver a range of grant related tasks in a timely manner as documented in program material including administrative and operational functions, data entry, data checking, quality assurance, project tracking and support and electronic record keeping.
  • Contribute to the preparation of high-quality reports and correspondence on a range of program matters to senior management.
  • Establish and maintain effective working and information exchange relationships with other areas of the department.
  • Actively contribute to a collaborative approach across the team and support the professional development of graduates and trainees across the Program Centre.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills together with demonstrated skills in the provision of administrative processes including managing and delivering to work schedules.
  • Sound conceptual knowledge of GEMS/Salesforce
  • Sound communication skills (written and verbal) including the ability to contribute to the preparation of quality and timely briefings, reports, and correspondence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, coordinate and manage work activities independently and as part of a team..
