This is a solution leadership role within the Enterprise Systems SAP Solution team and has responsibility for ensuring a robust, fit for purpose SAP Human Resource Information System (including ECC HR and Payroll, Spinifex Reporting and Success Factors) as part of the integrated end to end EAM/ERP solution

The role

  • Advise on the design and evolution of the HRIS (SAP HR/PY, Success Factors & related solutions)
  • Advise on the strategy, enhancement program and new modules or capability to deliver improved efficiencies
  • Manage the ongoing statutory compliance of the SAP HRIS, particularly in the payroll area
  • Operational support (Level 2 & 3) for the current and future Success Factors SaaS solution including: management and resolution of Success Factors support tickets and liaison with Partners for Level 3 & 4 support
  • Co-ordination of quarterly Success Factors releases from the Preview cycle through to Production enablement
  • Governance of all HRIS changes, including work performed by AMS and partner resources
  • Produce, review and endorse recommended solution concepts, options paper, impacts assessments and estimations
  • Mature capability to support broader user enablement including User Experience & Process Optimisation .
  • Translate business process, master data & best practice requirements into executable design & estimation deliverables

Skills & Experience
  • SAP HR Australian Payroll expertise
  • Deep knowledge of SAP ESS/MSS , including HR forms & processes
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors Talent Suite (incl Performance and Goals skills, Recruitment & Onboarding, Compensation, Calibration & learning modules)
  • Exposure to CPI for SAP to SuccessFactors integration
  • SAP HR experience (including payroll) across multiple lifecycles of SAP implementations and support.
  • Success Factors experience across all key modules, including implementation and support experience
  • Strong background in SAP Australian payroll, time capture, ESS/MSS & Fiori, ideally from an asset intensive industry such as utilities.
  • Solid understanding of HRIS business processes and the corresponding technical considerations for SAP solutions
  • Must be able to identify, communicate and/or resolve potential roadblocks in the solution/process before issues that will impact the business
  • Experience and capability in technology planning with a roadmap and architectural focus
  • Self-starter and resourceful. This is a " hands on" role and incumbent must be a problem solver, finisher and highly organized individual
  • Must be process oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Team player with experience working within and across teams and with offshore support teams.
  • Lead and Mentor. Proven track record in guiding, leading and mentoring an AMS support function and external delivery teams
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • High degree of integrity, trust and professionalism, particularly as dealing with personal and sensitive data.
  • Demonstrable history of achieving success through results oriented and accountable leadership
  • Solid understanding of ITIL disciplines and delivery of change using both traditional and Agile methodologies,
  • Ability to handle organisational change in a proactive and productive manner
  • Success Factors certification or clear evidence of working towards certification
