The APJ AWS Training & Certification (T&C) team is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Operations Manager to work with the T&C teams, leveraging data and analysis to land business insights to scale the business.

In this role, you will lead the sales operations team and function for T&C across APJ, developing relationships with the business to maximize platform adoption through skills development and defining ways to extend the reach of skills growth in the market, through global expansion and creation of segment-specific strategies, mechanisms and assets to link training plans to platform adoption in each segment. You will be responsible for developing sales coverage, sales and delivery compensation, incentives and goals, negotiating and developing shared metrics to support. You will also be responsible for rhythm of the business activities such as Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews, forecasting, metrics, and consolidation of organizational planning and strategy documents. Key to the success in this role will be building strong relationships with the T&C teams and your sales operations counterparts in the AWS businesses we support.

The successful candidate will a hands-on and motivated self-starter with a proven track record of business and sales operations management, a customer-focused and analytical approach, and a passion for automation. You will demonstrate the ability to dive deep into data, but also maintain a strategic focus on the direction of the business. You will work with the T&C regional and global teams to drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the T&C and field teams to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to drive business growth.

You will be passionate about your work, detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will be experienced at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them, have superb communication skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for our customers to other internal parties. Active collaboration with leadership in the business Sales Operations teams will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities. You will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate both complex analytical results and your think big ideas, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Operations, T&C, APJ, your responsibilities will include:
· Creation and management of bus review narratives: MBR, QBR, Yearly (OPs) and ad hoc
· Design, development, maintenance and delivery/presentation of forecasting and pipeline management models, metrics, reports, BI analysis and dashboards to drive key business decisions across T&C APJ
· Operational management of pricing, discounts and funding programs
· Sales and Delivery goal management, sales territory structuring and alignment, sales coverage modeling and BDM productivity
· Provide business critical insights using analytics to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the Training and Certification team
· Work closely with other teams to build and deliver initiatives/projects aligned to business growth
· Act as a key member of the APJ T&C Strategy & Operations leadership team, including helping to mentor and develop team members, and providing backup support to the Head of Strategy & Operations


· Experience in technology related sales or sales operations management
· Experience designing and delivering Sales Performance Insights, Sales coverage modelling, BDM productivity, revenue reporting, forecasting and pipeline management
· Experience analyzing data and communicating the results to business leaders
· Ability to engage with confidence across multiple levels within the company
· Team management and driving for high performance


· A technical or business related degree
· Extremely proficient in Excel and be able to create and troubleshoot complex spreadsheets
· Industry experience managing revenue for a services business
· Advanced problem-solving skills for difficult to complex issues
· Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative and deadline-driven environment
