The OneSky Australia Project is first of its kind in the world, the high-profile nature of the project garners excitement and innovation. The integration of civilian and military Air Traffic Management Systems (CMATS) through common operational and technical requirements will improve safety, security, interoperability and sustainment. It will also improve efficiency, capacity and support harmonised Air Traffic Management processes and procedures for collaborative flow management and dynamic flexible use of airspace.

Purpose of your Role

The OneSKY Project Planner works within the OneSKY PMO team. The PMO team provides scheduling and planning support to the OneSKY Project which in turn, enables the effective monitoring and control of project deliverables, workload, schedule risk and costs for the OneSKY Programme.

You bring to the Role

  • Significant experience and capability in Project Planning / Scheduling / Reporting / Forecasting / Cost Reconciliation and Controls for vast and complex projects

  • A solid background in supporting Project Managers and Work Package Managers to plan the work packages with a focus on understanding change requirements and reporting on variances

  • Preparation of PMO monthly reporting inputs for Project and Programme dashboard

  • A solid understanding of Earn Value Management methods and reporting

  • The ability to provide scheduled risk analysis

Your Qualifications

  • Tertiary or Qualification in Business or Engineering, or equivalent career experience

  • Advanced Knowledge and practice of Earned Value management and Cobra tool

  • Knowledge and practice of Primavera and Scheduling Tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) highly desirable

This is a 2-year fix term contract with review to moving on to other projects.
