MD Solutions is a leader in the field of niche medical devices. With over 25 years of sales experience, we supply high-tech, niche surgical devices in Interventional Oncology, Urology, ENT, Radiation Oncology, Gastro, and other fields.


Due to business growth and new innovative devices coming to market, MD Solutions is seeking to employ a Medical Sales Professional/Clinical support specialist to support our Interventional Oncology team in delivering high-quality service to our clinical market of Private and Public Hospitals in regional and metropolitan Victoria/Tasmania.


We are looking for a Sales Representative to train and support; however, experienced Medical Device Sales Representatives who believe they are suited are welcome to apply.

Job tasks and responsibilities


In this role, you will be responsible for providing clinical support and training for new and existing customers, principally in Radiology/Interventional suites. 

  • You will be accountable for selling a range of innovativeniche devices to Surgeons, Doctors, Nurses, and Procurement Departments by demonstrating our unique technical and clinical benefits.
  • You need to establish and maintain strong relationships with key contacts to increase sales revenue.
  • A key responsibility is to provide case support for your products. (You will be required to attend cases).
  • Support the sales team to identify, sell and promote our products.
  • You will be available to attend early morning and/or late afternoon cases and are expected to manage your own time.
  • You will have the support of a passionate and dynamic Manager and Senior Leadership Team, who will help further develop your sales career.
  • Interstate travel may be required from time to time.
  • This role is currently based in Williamstown with WFH options and will involve large amounts of onsite work in Hospitals.


Skills and experience


  • Able to cold call and organise a meeting schedule.
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously.
  • Be able to travel - you will need a car for travel within Victoria.
  • Excellent communication skills. (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to quickly absorb clinical information
  • Tertiary qualifications or clinical background in Nursing especially Interventional suites, Cath Labs, and or theatre will be highly regarded. Science and or Business will also be looked upon.
