The role we have will be responsible for managing and optimizing the BankVic home lending product portfolio. You’ll champion the product vision through your understanding of member needs, ensuring we have a competitive portfolio of products and product experience that meet our members’ needs and supports the sustainable delivery of organisational strategic outcomes.


In this role, you can expect to:

  • Apply member insights to guide development, including research and customer feedback, and industry and competitor analysis to identify and deliver product enhancements to BankVic’s products
  • Understand and optimise the end to end customer experience across each of the products, identifying opportunities for simplification and digitisation
  • Maintain clear understanding of competitive product positioning and pricing across the portfolio


We are looking for someone with:

  • Strategic mindset and ability to communicate vision with passion for customer experience
  • Ability to identify new market opportunities and monitor competitor activity
  • Willingness to act both strategically and operationally to deliver results
  • Strong commercial skills to bring a balanced approach to decision making considering members, risk, and commercial outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a small lean team and to “blaze a trail” in terms of tackling problems that may be brand new to the business, and not have defined processes in place
