The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) is seeking to appoint five Director, Regional Operations to lead high performing teams in regional Victoria, developing and implementing a whole-of-government approach to deliver projects, develop opportunities through to delivery, and drive community and economic development across the region.

In these roles you will assist the Regional Director to deliver the priorities in the region, covering the full work program, from stimulus initiatives to job creation, infrastructure, regional planning, investment attraction, and economic recovery needs, as well as deliver major regional strategies, investments, and projects in partnership with the private sector.

In these positions you will forge relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate outstanding leadership as a senior representative of the Victorian Government in the region.

An inspiring, collaborative and values-based leader, you will have a deep understanding of the government's economic and community development agenda and priorities in rural and regional Victoria and demonstrated project management experience with extensive experience delivering public sector projects in complex environments.

A proven track record of leading, developing, and motivating skilled and professional teams that align with organisational values and goals will see you succeed in these roles.
