About the Role
The Performance and Support branch of CQV oversees end to end reporting, insights and intelligence across the CQV enterprise, provides leading ICT, transition and other supports, to enable high performance and continuous improvement.

The role of Director, Platforms and Cybersecurity, reports to the Executive Director of Performance and Support and is responsible for overseeing the Enterprise Applications, Platforms and Cybersecurity areas of the ICT division. Working closely alongside the Director, Products and Strategy, this position will require the successful applicant to engage with Senior Business and ICT stakeholders to design, develop and implement ICT solutions to ensure CQV's infrastructure is secure, sustainable and cost effective.
In addition, this role will critical oversight of the ongoing transition of ICT responsibilities from the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS), as CQV establishes its independent internal ICT capabilities as an Administrative Office. This will involve negotiation with and management of external vendors, liaison with government agencies, and building and developing a high performing, values driven team.

Travel within the greater Melbourne area to COVID-19 accommodation sites may be required and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

About you
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
• At least 10 years' experience in managing complex ICT divisions and/or projects with a deep passion and understanding of Cyber Security
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, ICT, information security or Cyber Security
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing large ICT teams, contractors and vendors within either a Government, Crisis Management or Merger/Transition environment
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, achieve targets and adapt to changing priorities within a high pressure, dynamic and unstructured environment
