The Organisation

This large Federal Government Organisation is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join them in a 6 month fixed-term contract, based in Box Hill.

The Role
As an Executive Assistant you will support senior executives through delivery of front office functions, including communicating with and providing advice to a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities will also include;

  • Organising and providing support for meetings, including preparation of meeting papers, organising venues and managing travel arrangements
  • Diary and inbox management
  • High level administrative support to senior executives
  • Communicating and liaising with a range of stakeholders which may include, employees at all levels, ministerial offices, other government departments and members of the public
About You As the successful candidate, you will have experience providing high level executive support to senior executives in a high volumes and complex environment.

In addition, you will demonstrate;

  • A strong record of building and sustaining productive and effective working relationships
  • Extensive experience anticipating the needs of senior executives, taking ownership and exercising judgement to make reasonable decisions
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and respond to competing and often urgent requests in a professional and efficient manner
  • Ability to confidently communicate with a range of stakeholders and work collaboratively to complete tasks
  • Display discretions and manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Extensive experience managing information, records, email, diaries, appointments, correspondence, budget and travel
