About Our Client

The Role

Our client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer (Level-1) to join their team.

Reporting directly to our Technical Manager, you will provide and manage technical support and high-level customer service to our clients as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT systems.

Familiarity with the following systems and technologies is desirable and a CCNA is essential.

  • Microsoft Active Directory (user management, security groups, group policy, etc)
  • Microsoft Office 365 and Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Virtualisation technologies (Remote Desktop, Citrix, VMWare, Parallels, etc)
  • Networking principles (DNS, firewalls, ports, etc)
  • File sharing protocols (SMB, FTP, HTTP, etc)

About you

You have a passion for technology and a willingness to learn. You are patient and well-spoken and understand that communication with your clients and team is of the utmost importance.

You have a strong sense of initiative, great organisational skills and attention to detail.

You are looking to join a small team with a great sense of humour and a desire to work in a niche IT space.
