Role: Lead Principal Analyst, Research and Methodology (until 31 Decemeber 2021)

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Testing Vaccination Data & Intelligence, this role will collaborate with researchers and modellers to lead the development of Community Engagement & Testing Command's COVID response strategy, using data and intelligence to improve effectiveness of the testing and vaccination systems and inform strategy and prioritisation of testing, vaccination and community engagement.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across government, researchers, industry experts, and modellers to gather data and intelligence to inform strategy development
  • Oversee planning, designing, implementing and managing proposed strategic recommendations and projects
  • Lead the creation of evidence-based documents and advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters. 
  • Build and maintain positive relationships across the department and the wider sector to achieve stakeholder alignment.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
  • Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role impact the department's ability to deliver evidence-led testing strategy and prioritisation and improve effectiveness.
  • Take utmost care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
