Role: Senior CVMS Systems Administrator (until 31 December 2021)

Position Summary:

The COVID-vac group is responsible for managing and coordinating the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination to the state of Victoria. Operating as a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, the group will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver an effective and efficient immunisation campaign.

The Senior CVMS Systems Administrator will provide high level administrative support, advice and guidance to the operation of the Covid Vaccine Management System (CVMS). The role will lead the CVMS Systems Coordinator role and liaise directly with health services and department branches to provide advice, education, change management and delivery support.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide high level system administration (Azure, Dynamics)and user support.
  • Oversee the user audits process and report findings to the management team.
  • Manage device authorisations.
  • Operate the Azure Active Directory and oversee usage.
  • Conduct security monitoring.
  • Manage the vendor contract.
  • Provide onboarding/offboarding support and training to users and super users.
  • Train the Trainers as required.
  • Forecast, budget and present CVMS reporting to the management team.
  • Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
  • Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
  • Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
