About the role:

The Transfer and Promotion Unit convene Victoria Police member (sworn) selection panels from the rank of Constable/Senior Constable through to Commander, servicing all Regions, Departments and Commands. Each Recruitment Consultant is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment services for all sworn transfer and promotions processes.

Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and support flexible working arrangements.

Your duties will include:

  • Manage and coordinate the internal end to end transfer and recruiting function to a high standard
  • Prepare a range of reports and written material
  • Organise and deliver information sessions, briefings and training
  • Ensure databases and records are maintained
  • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships
As the successful applicant, you will have:
  • Tertiary human resource management qualifications will be well regarded
  • Experience in conducting end-to-end recruitment and selection
  • Highly developed communication, consultative and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively, independently and effectively in partnerships and with strict deadlines
Requirements and relevant information:
  • Position location, Victoria Police Centre. 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
