About the role

As a Senior Relationship Manager you will manage a commercial portfolio of commercial customers with complex lending needs. Your key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Grow the business: You will further develop our existing customer base, as well as attract new customers by developing and implementing localised marketing plans. This includes leading key initiatives that aligns to Delphi Bank’s strategic goals and hosting events that optimise our profile and growth prospects in the local community.
  • Leadership: You will be a role model and a mentor, and working closely with the Area Manager you will develop and maintain an environment that motivates, holds accountable, engages and develops the skills of the team. 
  • Relationship Building: Relationships are central to our customer value proposition, and you will use your own strengths in this area form collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and proactively build and maintain strong networks and community partnerships with local industry, business and community groups.

We have 2 positions available at our Delphi Bank Oakleigh branch and our Delphi Bank South Yarra branch. These are full time, permanent positions with flexible work options. To grow in our niche market with opportunity to raise your profile as a Banker you will need to have availability to attend events outside of core business hours when required.

Does this sound like you?

We are looking for someone who is aligned with our brand, having a general understanding of the Hellenic culture that will enable you to strengthen your ties with the local community. The ability to speak the Greek language would be beneficial but is not essential. Our ideal candidate will also have:

  •  3+ years’ experience managing diverse and complex loan portfolios of Business customers
  • Highly developed relationship building skills; proactively developing valued internal and external networks and community partnerships.
  • Proven track record of business development with established quality referral sources and networks
  • Experience in a leadership role and a passion for motivating, coaching and developing others
  • Highly developed business lending and credit analysis skills and significant knowledge of the SME market
