About the role

Due to growth and new positioning, a new role has been created for a Website Experience UX Manager to join the Acquisition team.
This role is a key team member of the Website Team and plays an important role in driving success within the bank. You will provide research, solutions and plans to develop out our website capabilities and oversee the execution. You will be actively involved in ensuring online content is accurate, compliant and engaging.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving best in class UI/UX experiences by being the customer champion for the websites and digital experiences.
  • Building your CX and UX strategy and designing customer-centric, quality experiences that drive satisfaction, loyalty and deliver business value.
  • Partnering with and managing relationships with agencies to ensure project deadlines are being met, code quality is maintained, risk is managed and issues are solved.
  • Coaching team and individuals to enhance their proficiency in design and business practices and approaches
  • Leveraging data and reports to find issues, opportunities and optimisations to improve website performance
  • Participating in a strong culture of rapid experimentation, measurement, and iteration to drives member engagement and profitability
Applicant requirements
  • Design practice gained through a mix of environments, agency or client side
  • A great understanding of design principles and ability to create digital image assets with design tools, i.e. Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience designing and building web page layouts ; knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field
  • Designing for Digital interfaces – responsive, web and app
  • Advanced UX research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Expert UX prototyping and design tools
  • Excellent attention to detail, with data part of your DNA - Experience with analytics and how to implement & interpret data

You will be proactive, ambitious with a can-do attitude and consider your communication and relationship building skills to be key strengths. You will be able to work autonomously as well as effectively within a small team environment.
