About The Role

Reporting to the 121 Marketing Chapter Lead, the CRM Specialist will be responsible for the development and execution of Dan Murphy’s multi-channel loyalty campaigns and initiatives, from concept to execution. Partnering into both Functional Teams and Agile Squads, you will lead and facilitate campaign & data planning and execution to drive traffic, optimise conversion and achieve financial and customer targets.

As a key user of the Oracle Responsys platform you will play a key role in managing dynamic content, lifecycle and trigger email programs, as well as expanding the use beyond email and into additional one-to-one communication channels such as SMS and Push.

Campaigns may include, but are not limited to;

  • Trigger based ‘customer lifecycle’ communications designed to support Loyalty and eCommerce objectives including welcome/onboarding, lapsed/retention abandoned cart and remarketing/reorder campaigns
  • Broader My Dan’s Loyalty Communications and new eCommerce-led propositions
  • Campaign Activity to support broader Marketing strategies across the Trade & Value and Brand/Discovery pillars

Your background;
The role of the CRM Specialist is hands-on and involves stakeholder management, plus a level of technical proficiency and ‘in platform’ experience in Enterprise Email Management Systems (Oracle Responsys preferred). The ideal candidate must be able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Your strong desire/motivation to ‘test and learn’ to drive continuous improvement in the programs you manage will ensure the smooth and efficient running of campaigns & initiatives.

In addition you will have;
  • 5+ years CRM/Digital/Direct Marketing experience working in teams planning and executing dynamic content, lifecycle and trigger programs through email and other 121 communication channels
  • Experience working with innovative retail marketing teams with a strong focus on bringing the brand to life through creative execution
  • Experience working with large-scale customer databases and/or complex data
  • Demonstrated capability in receiving customer insight and understanding and translating this into materially improved customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing analytics.
  • Can-do attitude, with a track record of multitasking to deliver high quality outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Experience working with innovative retail marketing teams
