JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a client centred, Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to work in the Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Service at Western Health.


We are seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, who are excited about rehabilitation and occupation-based care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working within a collaborative team. CBR offers opportunities for professional development and quality projects and has strong links to the Occupational Therapy department.


This is a Temporary, full time role ceasing 03/10/2021


To be Successful in this Role you will



  • Have experience in providing goal-oriented physical rehabilitation to clients with a range of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, chronic pain and aged related conditions.

  • Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred practice

  • Have experience supervising grade 1 staff and/or Allied Health Assistants or OT students.

  • Have experience working in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Have experience in quality improvement
