Full time limited term grade one positions are now available until August 2021 in the Peninsula Health Occupational Therapy grade one program. Vacancies exist within the acute hospital until August 2021. Those with availability for immediate start are encouraged to apply.

What You Will Be Doing

The Occupational Therapy Grade One Rotation program at Peninsula Health includes rotations through inpatient, acute, sub-acute and community settings. Additionally, opportunities exist to rotate through both physical and mental health.
The Grade 1, reporting directly to a Grade 2 occupational therapist for clinical supervision and to the senior occupational therapist for clinical and operational matters, competently provides occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients and clients in the most appropriate environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe and effective care to patients within the designated caseload.
- Provide evidence based Occupational Therapy services within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure a high standard of service is delivered at all times.
- Demonstrate positive workplace behaviours and relationships at all times.
- Maintain up to date professional development.
- Demonstrate clear and effective communication.
- Work within the clinical scope of practice
