Workforce Planning & Analytics Specialist

  • Annual Salary Range: $101,120 - $122,348 per annum plus superannuation
  • Tenure: Fixed Term (31/12/2022)
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Usual Work Location: Melbourne CBD (flexibility may be available)

About the Team

This role sits in the Payroll and Systems which is branch within the People and Business Services Division. The Division provide business enabling people and corporate services functions, to drive a high-performance culture and to support integrated operations.

About the Opportunity

The Workforce Planning & Analytics Specialist is responsible for the interpretation and transformation of workforce data into transparent visual business insights. The position will also lead workforce modelling and forecast development and assist in building a set of contemporary workforce forecasting tools that are innovative and meet specific internal and external stakeholder needs.

What we're looking for in the successful candidate

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver quality, accurate workforce visual insights at an executive level.
  • Exhibits ability to undertake workforce planning to create forecasts including supply and demand planning.
  • Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills including the ability to resolve complex data challenges and develop solutions to interpret workforce data in line with stakeholder/business requirements.
  • Have worked within a workforce planning or workforce analytics function.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to meet the target audience needs with clear and comprehensive visual executive briefings.

Mandatory

  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience working in workforce planning and analytics.
  • Advanced analytical skills, interpreting workforce data and creating visual insights.
  • Workforce forecasting including supply and demand planning.

Desirable

  • Prior experience working with a range of workforce planning and analytics tools
  • Experience working with SAP (Success Factors).
  • Exposure Chris21, Empower and Connect payroll systems.
