The Program Manager, Clinical Quality Registry is responsible for managing all aspects of the Movember involvement of the PCORANZ Registry. Further information about PCORANZ is available at www.prostatecancerregistry.org

A key function of the Program Manager is to oversee and manage all aspects of the registry which includes operating in accordance with Clinical Quality Registry (CQR) principals outlined by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. This role will focus on monitoring and optimising registry performance and outputs such as the Annual Report and registry participant Quality Indicator reports that support the improvement in clinical practice and patient outcomes over time.

This role reports directly to the Director of Clinical Quality, based in Melbourne, Australia.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as the Program champion to achieve all goals and deliverables, serve as key contact and point of coordination and accountability to the Program.
  • Establish relevant KPIs, performance metrics, evaluation strategy, knowledge translation strategy and reporting requirements.
  • Analyse, monitor and report program risks and issues and work with relevant stakeholders to determine appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets and maintain appropriate budget tracking and oversight. Ensure compliance with budget, control costs and report budget variances to programs management.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders participating within and across the Projects.
  • Oversee the delivery of key milestones and take action to overcome barriers to success.
  • Oversee the relevant change management and stakeholder management to support the revised Movember prostate cancer strategy.
  • Provide assistance as required to projects requiring EOIs / RFPs etc, which may involve editing documentation, setting up systems, providing training and or support.

For this role, you’ll need:

  • 7+ years experience of project management experience in a clinical or research setting.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Completion of a relevant health degree qualification.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • High level project coordination skills in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to collect and collate information accurately and reliably.
  • Ability to ensure that activities are conducted in accordance with study protocols, ethical clearances and Australian guidelines for good research.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes in an environment with a high level of complexity.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and growth environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
