Level Crossing Removal Project

About the roles

As part of a dynamic and results-driven team you will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships and communications within the local community, engaging with people from all backgrounds and industries. We have two opportunities based at Footscray and Richmond and on any given day you might find yourself getting involved in early consultations with members of the community or proactively identifying issues impacting the project and its community and seeking positive resolutions. In engaging our communities and working together with our construction project teams, you will ensure our communications are effective, accessible and above all deliver our purpose accurately.

About you

You might have experience in driving key communications within a project or business, or from a similar fast paced and complex environment. This might involve written, verbal or online/chat communications with members of the public. We'd love applications from people who have:

  • People skills … it's important you have the ability to interact with stakeholders and members of the public, and resolve escalated issues and complaints
  • The ability to tailor your communication style to suit a wide range of audiences – both written and verbal
  • Solutions focused and comfortable dealing with ambiguity - we operate in the grey area a lot, and need someone that's okay with that

You will have a strong sense of purpose in helping the project deliver on transforming the way Victorians live, work and travel.
