Your New Company
Our client is a well-established, leading project and program management consultancy with an impressive list of blue-chip clients including financial institutions and telecommunications companies. They manage mostly IT transformation projects anywhere between $1m and $1.4Bn. And they only employ people on a permanent basis, rather than for specific projects. 

Your New Role
In your new PMO Manager role, you will be charged with establishing and operating PMO’s for significant program of works. This will include standing up new processes or refining some of the existing PMO practices in line with changing requirements and establishing best practices & frameworks. You will also be leading a team of PMO specialists. This is an integral role in ensuring successful delivery of complex IT Programs and business transformations for blue chip clients.
About You
To be considered for an interview, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A track record of successfully delivering PMO services for large Technology programs ($100m+)
  • Proven ability with management of complex Program Scope, Scheduling, Financial, Resource and Deliverables Management
  • Considerable experience in governance and leadership to drive delivery outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and drive a strategic agenda
  • Management of medium to large PMO teams
  • Experience across Project, Program and Portfolio levels of PMO is desirable
  • Strong references from previous employers and client sponsors
  • High energy levels to ensure successful project delivery or turnaround success
  • Natural team building skills and demonstrated leadership experience

Note: While Project Management qualifications are preferred, they are not essential. A successful track record of supporting delivery for complex programs and high integrity will be the most important factors. Previous Consulting experience is not required.
