Casual Private Patient Liaison Officer

Private Patient Liaison Officers will be able to identify private and compensable patients throughout the Monash Health network. They will be able to have discussions with Health Funds and assist patients in making a decision about the utilisation of Private Health Insurance within Monash Health. This assists in maximising additional revenue brought in by Monash Health.

About The Role

Private in Public is a great asset to the organisation, as the initiative assists in raising much needed extra funding across the network for multiple services. This is a rewarding, face paced, patient facing role whereby staff communicate with many different parties including doctors and other clinical staff. Private Patient Liaison officers are required to liaise with patients and health funds to check eligibility of private health utilisation throughout the network.
