As the Finished Goods Planner/Scheduler,

We are seeking an experienced Finished Goods Planner/Scheduler to join our Planning Team located in Dandenong South. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor this role requires you to ensure process orders are planned, scheduled and released in time to meet customer sales and stock order transfer requested dispatch dates.

We are looking for highly skilled and logically minded candidate with the ability to work well in a team- based work environment. The successful candidate is someone who can bring positive attitude to the workplace, is highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.

Job Requirements

As the Finished Goods Planner/Scheduler, your key responsibilities will be…

Responsible for Daily material/production planning based on customer orders, stock agreements, planned lot sizes and internal production requirements to meet volume objective
Create, update and maintain production schedules to meet production objectives.
Ensure materials are prearranged for production and effectively plan to utilise capacity and labour
Monitor inventory levels, create production work orders and monitor lead times in order to ensure customer orders are fulfilled within tight timeframes.
Liaise with Customer Service to ensure sales orders are aligned to best production schedules and timelines
Setup and maintenance of masterdata for manufactured items
Analyse and update system planning parameters

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role:
Relevant degree qualification in Operations or Planning
Previous experience in production planning ideally within the manufacturing industry
Competent ability to use and understand various computer applications (SAP application skills highly regarded)
Strong numerical skills and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills with a positive attitude
