About the role:

Joining us in this 12-Month Fixed Term position, you will provide consulting services and holistic HR support across our fund and partner with the leadership team to provide best practice employee relations expertise and support.

Some of your key responsibilities will include to:

  • Provide professional advice to employees and People Leaders on people related matters whilst having regard to relevant legal frameworks, policies, procedures and the Hostplus enterprise agreement
  • Take a lead role by partnering with business leaders in advising on a range of IR/ER matters
  • Take a lead in role in managing the Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing function at the Fund
  • Identify issues through channels such as exit interviews, probationary reviews, surveys and trends and providing advice to address these in partnership with management
  • Support and Implement an effective performance review process

About you:

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for people and is driven by fostering an amazing employee experience. You’ll be adept at working with stakeholders of all levels and have a natural ability to develop lasting business relationships.

Some other key attributes & experience we’re looking for are:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, or a related discipline
  • Experience and strong knowledge of employment law
  • A continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing a plan to implement change within our business framework
  • Well developed influencing and negotiating skills
