My client is a small suburban law practice situated in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne. They specialise in Commercial Property Law.

They are looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy practice. This role supports the rest of the team with both Conveyancing work and Administration tasks.

Main Responsibilities

This role will is responsible for:

  • Assisting with conveyancing including verification of identity, CGT clearance certificates, Duties on Line (stamp duty forms etc) and general client follow up;
  • General Office Administration – managing office supplies, petty cash, etc.
  • Answering the phone
  • Support with social media – posts to YouTube, LinkedIn etc;
  • Some Word Processing support;
  • Any other support for the team as may be required from time to time.

A bit about you:

  • A strong commitment to excellence in customer service;
  • High degree of literacy, accuracy and experience with MSOffice - specifically Word;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • A positive and energetic approach with strong attention to detail;
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge about how to use PEXA is highly desirable;
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
