Reporting directly to the CFO this role offers exposure to work across both the financial and management accounting activities of the business. The ideal candidate would be someone newly qualified (CA/CPA) and making the step up from an assistant accountant position or alternatively making their first move into industry from a business services or advisory background within a well known chartered firm.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Monthly Group consolidation, including consolidation adjustments.
  • Monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
  • Supporting the Budgeting and Forecasting process.
  • Half-year and year end audit with external auditors.
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts.
  • Assist in board reporting for the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with direct and indirect tax compliance reporting requirements.

Key Requirements;

  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting.
  • Qualified or nearly qualified (CA/CPA).
  • Process and deadline driven mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (AASB/IFRS).
  • Full working rights within Australia.
