Lendlease’s Telecommunications team provides safe, cost effective end-to-end technological solutions for our customers across Australia’s telecommunications networks. We design, construct, operate and maintain telecommunications network infrastructure for public and private asset owners across Fixed and Wireless Networks.

As our business continues to expand, we have an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our fixed networks team

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide administrative end to end support to ensure all aspects of planning, organising, delivery and finalisation of each Project to ensure field operations are suitably supported and successful completion of contractual completion requirements.

Core tasks will include:

  • Overall management and coordination, estimating, preparation of quotes and completion documentation in accordance with client contracts
  • Assist in the review of the completion requirements and determine best practice for the collection of completion artefacts
  • Work with clients and sub-contractors to ensure all groups are aligned with the requirements of completions.
  • Advise and provide support to sub-contractors and internal team members on completion requirements
  • Support the wider project team by assisting in the reviewing and updating of project status, identifying opportunities for improvement and managing delays
  • Assist in the analysis of trends and escalating issues
  • Assist in the analysis and management of the completion commitment dates with the project schedule
  • Review and critique Construction Partner updates prior to entering the schedule.
  • With the support of the technical team, drive the rectification of defects pre and post request of completion
To be successful in this position you will hold a Bachelor / Degree in Engineering or similar and have demonstrated experience working on construction, telecommunication, and power projects. You will have strong communication skills, a pro-active nature, strong organisational skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A proven ability to develop partnerships with a range of stakeholders including management, staff and clients is essential.
