About the role

This is a great opportunity to join our Procurement team as the Procurement Operations Lead, ANZ based in our Richmond office to partner with the leadership team developing cost saving initiatives and driving policy compliance throughout the business.

In this position you will have a variety of responsibilities to add value to the wider business including;

  • Localises and executes sourcing strategies across corporate services, IT, Human Resources and Professional services, distribution and logistics, marketing and communication categories
  • Collaborates with internal customers to proactively manage and satisfy sourcing requirements and exploit opportunities
  • Drives and educates the wider business on procurement policy, process and systems
  • Partnering with key stakeholders including strategic suppliers, Executive Leadership Team, Senior Management including APAC regional office in Shanghai and Global HQ in the US.
  • Support the implementation of all procurement continuous improvement projects
About you

To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills and attributes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification with minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar procurement position in the retail, consumer, or manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills with an ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders internal and externally
  • Superior project management and organizational skills
  • SAP, Advanced Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office skills
  • People focused and able to work in a collaborative culture
