JOB DESCRIPTION
Eastern suburbs Council requiring experienced turf team member to join sports fields team for the season.
Your new company
This local council have a vacancy within their sport field division for an experienced turf professional. The division maintain the local sports fields in the area. Their hard-working team is ever-growing, so there is opportunity for the right candidate to be considered for a permanent role.
Your new role
Your role will require you to;
- Maintain and renovate works across a number of sports fields in the municipality
- Drive HR vehicles
- Operate and maintain mowers and related machinery
- Assist in irrigation works
- Contribute to OHS procedures
What you'll need to succeed
- Turf Qualification preferable
- Significant previous hands on experience
- HR licence - essential
- Experience in operating and maintaining vehicles, machinery and powered equipment
- High level of attention to detail
**Successful candidates will be required to complete a police check prior to commencement.
