We are currently looking to hire a Senior Java Developer for a 12-month contract with a strong possibility for extension.

Your new role
You will join a high performing team, working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders (including stakeholders based overseas). The role will be working within the area of the business that focuses connected vehicle solutions and in-vehicle satellite navigation. You will be a valued member of the team and will regularly contribute to the creative process, ensuring the business maintains its position as an innovator in its space.

What you'll need to succeed

• Java experience at least 5 years
• At least 3 years experience working in a Scrum team
• Experience in developing high performance systems - experience in coding for optimal performance (rather than just getting it to work)
• Unit Testing

Desirable:

• Other Object Oriented programming experience (e.g. Kotlin, C#, C++, Swift, etc.)
• Experience in developing software that interfaces with hardware
• Experience in developing embedded devices/resource constrained devices
• Experience working in full-stack project
• Experience in working under highly regulated industry like Automotive/Defence/Medical
