Board Support Officer job in Melbourne CBD, commencing ASAP in a temporary capacity with a view to extend.


Your new company
This leading Not For Profit organisation is seeking a Board Support Officer to join them on a temporary basis. Located on the fringe of the CBD you will be required to work both in the office and from home offering a hybrid work model for those who enjoy flexibility.

Your new role
This role will see you provide exceptional administrative support to the Board and Committee member's. You will coordinate the collation of information and prepare board packs for distribution in line with company standards and formats, create agendas, meeting templates, minute meetings, follow up on action items, manage room bookings and set up for the meetings and arrange any video or telephone conferencing required. You will maintain excellent electronic records in accordance with company policies and manage communications to internal and external stakeholders as required. You may be required to provide adhoc diary management and travel coordination for Board and/or Committee members and other related administrative tasks.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in a Board Support role or similar performing end to end secretariat functions and be confident learning new systems and processes quickly so that you can hit the ground running in a fast paced busy environment. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail and be proficient in the MS Suite and have experience using programs to collate and distribute board papers. IT skills to problem solve issues related to video and telephone conferencing is essential. The ability to build strong working relationships quickly, coordinate stakeholders, manage your time effectively and work well under pressure is key to your success in this role. In addition you will demonstrate a professional yet personable demeanour and a true team player attitude.
