Newly created permanent People & Culture Manager opportunity, Victorian Government Statutory Authority


Your new company
This state government statutory authority has created a new position as a P+C Manager. The role will be a full time permanent role and will be a virtual position initially but the organisation is based in Melbourne CBD. This role will work closely to help develop a growing HR team and will work on P+C workforce strategies with senior executives and stakeholders.

Your new role
Reporting to the COO you will be responsible for providing trusted advice and support to the executive leadership team on all people matters while also leading workforce planning strategies. This will include building contemporary workforce planning and capability frameworks. This role will see you managing and growing the P+C team and will require you to be the subject matter expert on EBA’s, change management processes and legislative matters. While working both operationally and strategically, you will provide specialist advice across a range of people matters, capability development and employee engagement while also working on multiple projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience in a HR leadership role where you have developed and motivated teams. Experience working with senior leadership on strategic people and workforce plans while also working within a matrix reporting model. Successful completion of HR or OD related degree and experience developing and implementing workforce frameworks. Excellent communication skills and senior stakeholder management. You will be passionate about creating and shaping meaningful high impact people practices.
