JOB DESCRIPTION
An opportunity exists within DXC’s Clinical HealthCare segment for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). DXC’s HealthCare team is responsible for delivering a quality focused, reactive support and maintenance service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for technology strategies, roadmaps and transformation plans. With the Healthcare industry focussed nature of this role, you will have a deep understanding of industry trends and the impacts of these to our clients and the services provided by Dedalus across applications, business processing and technology.
Responsibilities:
Understanding and quantifying a client’s baseline technology portfolio
Influencing the client’s technology portfolio planning activities and strategizing with Dedalus’s practices
Formulate a vision for how technology will be utilised within the company
Outline company goals and timelines for research and development
Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy for alignment with its business goals
Identify and implement innovative technologies
Help business units use technology profitably and act as a mentor to team members
Build quality assurance and data protection processes
Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
Capitalise on stakeholder’s feedback to advise on necessary improvements and adjustments
Communicate tech-strategy to partners and investors
Key Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (mandatory), MBA or Masters (highly desirable)
Leadership experience across Cloud, Digital in Pre-Sales or consulting roles
Experience in driving Capex to XaaS transformations and their respective technology changes
Experience working with multi-cultural and global environments where both linguistic and cultural differences are key to understand and embrace
In-depth understanding of business and technology strategies and aligning current and future Dedalus solutions to those strategies
Experience in translating specific business domain needs (i.e. Healthcare) into technology enabled user experience
Experience working at C-level to present strategic solutions across a broad technical area
Excellent communication skills to communicate with customers, internal teams and large conference groups
Strong creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organisation skills to balance and prioritise work
In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development
In this role you will work closely with the sales team, pre-sales, product owners and the global CTO Office to optimise account planning efforts. You will be a key member of the local leadership team with the ability to leverage the broader CTO team for support, standards, access to the company strategy and access to key company technology experts.
