Purpose of the role

The Investment Director’s primary role is to ensure that our implementation offering is adding value to our client’s business while providing the required support to the investment team by ensuring that we are delivering best in class practices. Beyond the day to day responsibilities, the role also works autonomously to proactively drive new and innovative investment initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Partner

Work with Client Leads to identify client objectives / positioning and proactively develop solutions which assist in transforming our client relationships by providing genuine value creation.

Responsible for client leadership on investment approaches, partnerships and landscape opportunities and the overall delivery of client KPIs and campaign delivery.

Drive proactive recommendations that solve client business goals.

Sets the framework for investment approaches

Product Leader

Champion the Publicis product offerings and when/where are they best deployed, delivering on diversified revenue targets.

Be familiar with PMX deals and manage the implementation for clients.

Keep abreast of market updates, how they impact clients and update Investment approach/propositions accordingly

Media Partner

Maintain strong and genuine relationships with media.

Ensure media are treated as partners and work collaboratively with them to deliver client objectives.

Champion strong and genuine relationships with media.

Bring Media partners along the client journey discussing topline client objectives

Minimum Qualifications

Experience Required

This position requires a relevant tertiary qualification or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification.

This role requires at least 5-7 years of media planning/buying experience.

Extensive experience in the media industry.

Understanding of how a media agency works and extensive insight into media suppliers.

Strategic rigor and view point

Exceptional negotiation skills

Strong attention to detail across all forecasting / deliverables and proven experience in exceeding client objectives.

Advanced knowledge of all media tools
